The Hikvision DS-KD-M is a video intercom card reader module and is part of the 2nd generation of video intercom systems. This allows users to open & unlock the door by swiping their card.
It can be installed by flush mounting or surface mounting, and is powered by DS-KD8003-IME1, by 12V DC using a maximum of 2W.
This module is operated by MiFare cards, with dimensions of 98.5mm(L) × 100mm(W) × 33.7mm(H) making it a great size, its not too big so it stands out too much but its not too small so users struggle to use it.
With back light compensation (BLC), a working temperature of -40°C to 60°C, and IP65 weather-proof housing, this is perfect for outdoor use.
