The Hikvision DS-2CD2686G2-IZSU/SL is a new, 8 megapixel bullet camera as part of the latest release of the G2 Acusense range. With a varifocal lens providing a focal length from 2.8mm up to 12mm, the camera is a versatile option for monitored surveillance.
Now featuring a built-in strobe light and audio alarm which can be used to deter intruders, offer safety and security warnings and relaying important information via the two way audio. The strobe light and audio alarm on the DS-2CD2686G2-IZSU/SL is typically triggered via line crossing detection.
AcuSense Technology has been developed to use deep learning algorithms to reduce false alarm notifications. Previously alarms would be falsely triggered by elements such as rain, foliage and wildlife. Now, with the AcuSense technology, the smart algorithms focus on targets such as vehicles and humans, greatly reducing the false alarms. This bullet camera can detect intelligent events such as Motion Detection, Line Crossing Detection and Tampering Alarms.
As well as being powered by Darkfighter technology, the camera also features other technologies such as 120 dB WDR, BLC, HLC and 3D DNR, all of which support the camera in achieving the best image quality possible, even when surveillance is required where light levels are challenging.
Users can mount the DS-2CD2686G2-IZSU/SL internally or externally as the camera has been rated as water and dust resistant. Plus, with it's powerful IR supplement lighting reaching a distance of up to 60 metres it can illuminate large spaces in darkness.
There is space on board for a MicroSD card (up to 256GB) and options to add audio and alarm, 3rd party devices.
The DS-2CD2646G2-IZSU/SL features H.265+ video compression which has seen users experience savings on bandwidth and storage space of up to 90%. We recommend powering this camera by POE however, it can also be powered by a 12V DC mains power supply unit (not provided).
